Our installation company, LUM Magnetic, welcomes Councillor Antoni Vera
23.03.2026
At LUM MAGNETIC, we were pleased to welcome Antoni Vera, Councillor for Education and Universities of the Government of the Balearic Islands, to our offices. He was interested in seeing firsthand the work we are carrying out alongside the three Vocational Training students currently completing their internships with us.
During the visit, we were also joined by María Isabel Salas, Director General of Vocational Training, who highlighted that these initiatives are supported by financial aid covering a percentage of the hours during which students are employed and registered with Social Security—an important measure that strengthens training and promotes youth employability.
Our General Manager, Manuel de los Santos, emphasized the value of this model:
“We are committed to training and to giving those who complete their internships with us the opportunity to continue their professional journey.”
He also pointed out a key challenge in the sector:
“It is not easy to find qualified professionals, which is why it is essential to train local talent here on the island.”
One of our interns, Jaume Font, described his experience as “very positive” and shared:
“From the very beginning, they have been teaching me different areas and giving me ideas on how to apply the knowledge I already had from my studies.”
He also added:
“When I finish my internship, if the opportunity arises, I would like to stay.”
At LUM MAGNETIC, we are clear: talent is not only found… it is built. 💡
